Handbell Choir

Our 3-octave handbell choir is made up of about 12 ringers who assist in leading worship at the 9:00 a.m. Traditional service. The bell choir plays from the back of the sanctuary balcony about once per month year-round. Occasionally the group presents joint pieces with orchestra, soloists, and choir, as well as accompanying congregational singing. The bell choir also participates in concerts and events throughout the year.

We are currently looking to build a roster of substitute ringers (to fill in for regular players in the case of absences). Ability to read written musical notes is preferred to participate in this group. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 5:45 p.m.-7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. Please contact Ruth Ann Stovicek, handbell choir director, for more information.
